Continuing Your Journey with JLMC

Are you an Active or Sustainer member from another Junior League chapter and relocating to Bradenton, Parrish, or Palmetto? Or perhaps you were a JLMC member in the past and would like to reinstate your membership?

We’re here to make your transition smooth. The Junior League of Manatee County welcomes women who want to continue their volunteer service, leadership training, and community involvement in Manatee County.

Membership Benefits & Requirements

Benefits of JLMC Membership

As a member of JLMC, you’ll enjoy opportunities for:

  • Connecting with the community through hands-on volunteer projects in Manatee County

  • Leadership development designed to grow your skills and confidence

  • Training sessions to expand your knowledge and prepare you for future leadership roles

  • Meaningful friendships with like-minded women in a fun, supportive environment

  • Community impact by making a real difference in the lives of local families

Active Member Requirements

Active Members are the backbone of our League, leading projects, events, and committees. Requirements include:

  • Annual dues of $140

  • Completion of 16 volunteer hours each League year

  • Serving on at least one committee

  • Attendance at General Membership Meetings (GMMs)

Sustaining Member Requirements

Sustainers provide valuable support and guidance while remaining connected to JLMC. Requirements include:

  • Annual dues of $110

  • After 5 years of Active membership, members may transition to Sustaining status
