The Junior League of Manatee County (JLMC) is a women’s volunteer organization dedicated to leadership development, community service, and making a lasting impact in Bradenton and beyond.

We offer rolling admissions, so you can join at any time of year—no need to wait for a specific deadline. Once you apply, our Membership team will guide you through the process, connect you with training opportunities, and help you start making an impact right away.

Membership Benefits
As a JLMC member, you’ll gain:

Provisional Member Requirements (First-Year Members)

Community Service: Complete 8 hours with JLMC projects & events (Sept–May).

Additional Service: Complete 8 hours with the nonprofit of your choice.

Training & Meetings: Attend ‘Super Saturday’ and membership trainings focused on leadership and volunteerism.

Provisional Class Project: Collaborate with fellow new members on a community service project.

Dues: $140 annual dues + $20 application fee (first year total = $165).

Fundraisers: Support annual fundraising events by volunteering, attending, or helping with preparation.
Active Member Requirements (After Your First Year)

Committee Placement: Serve on an approved committee (2–3 hours/month).

Community Service: 8 JLMC service hours + 8 outside service hours annually.

Meetings & Training: Continue leadership development through General Membership Meetings and workshops.

Dues: $140 annually

Fundraisers: Participate in planning, supporting, or attending JLMC’s annual fundraising events.
